Review: Signe Seebid Body Scrub | Orange

Hi loves! I'm back with another review and this week I have for you Signe Seebid Body Scrub with Orange (200g, 9.40 EUR). They make 100% natural beauty products and Signe Seebid is from Estonia.

The scrub comes in a glass jar and the product is so natural, that you can use the jar to store jam after the product is over. It doesn't contain any artificial fragrances, preservatives or toners.

This is sugar scrub and its chunky, which is my kind of a scrub. I like how well it cleanses my skin and gets all the dead skin cells and dirt off. Its also very hydrating, if you have dry skin (specially on winter) you will love it. When I use this scrub, I skip the shower gel, because it cleanses the skin so well.

This is Orange flavor is delicious and wakes me up, when I use it in the mornings. The scrub smells good in the shower, but the scent doesn't linger on my skin too long, which I like, because I can go in with my parfume.

Ingredients: Sucrose (sugar), Vitis vinifera (grape seed oil), glycerin (vegetable), tocopherol (vitamin E), Citrus sinensis (sweet orange ether oil).

I'm so happy with this scrub and I want to try more of their scrubs and other bath products. This smells amazing and I love the fact I don't need to hydrate my skin after the shower. It has never happened to me before. I have very dry skin on my legs and it surprised me, that my legs felt so comfortable after using it.

Its available on Kaubamaja (link) for Estonia and I did found a Finnish page, which doesn't ship outside of Finland, but when your there you can get your hands on it. Here is the link.

Review: Joik Shower Oil Raspberry Bon Bon

Hi loves! Today I have something that will keep your skin soft and hydrated all autumn and winter. I have been testing out Joik Shower Oil Raspberry Bon Bon (100ml, 18.90 EUR).

The shower oil comes in a plastic bottle and is easy to squeeze out. The formula is like oil and is 98.5% natural. Joik doesn't test on animals and the shower oil is vegan and gluten free. It has a sweet scent to it, which best described is sexy raspberry. I can smell the raspberry, but it there is also this smoky scent to it, which I love. The raspberry is combined with peach and orange flower, and veiled with patchouli, vanilla and praline.

Key ingredients:
  • Sweet almond oil - delays signs of aging and provides hydration to skin.
  • Sunflower oil - protects the skin and also retains moisture.
  • Sodium Lauroyl Lactylate, Glyceryl Caprylate - are 100% natural plant origins, hydration, protection, antibacterial.
The shower oil claims to foam, which it kind of does, but its not going to be like a shower gel. Its bit of foaming, but not really. It does clean my skin and I do like how hydrating it is. I always feel shower gels leaving my skin too dry, specially on the colder months, but this doesn't and I love it.

I'm so happy I got it! Its hands down my favorite body cleansing product. Its hydrating, cleans and leaves my skin smelling so good and sweet. The scent of it does linger on skin and I love it, but its not too storing like a parfum would be. I also like I don't have to moisturize my skin after using it.

If you want to check it out, I'll link it here and they do have other scents, if raspberry is too sweet for you.

Review: Peony Shadow Trio Eyeshadow Palette

Hi loves! How are you doing all? This week I have Peony Shadow Trio Eyeshadow Palette (3g, $18) and this is super tiny palette, which is ideal for traveling.

This little palette contains 3 shimmery eyeshadows and a mirror. There is no space waisted and I like how convenient it is to take with me on the go.

The formula of it is 73.5% natural and is formulated with out mineral oil, parabens, phthalates and is also fragrance free. These shadows are long wear (up to 8 hours) and thats because of the coated colour pigments. It also contains pure kaolin clay, which absorbs oil and its also not tested on animals.

Its a little nude palette and you all know how I feel about these :) These all are shimmery shadows. I would have liked the dark brown to be matte. Its just me, I need a matte shadow in the crease. These are all pigmented, some more then others. I feel the lightest shade is the least pigmented, but its not bad. Its just not as intense as the shimmery bronze.

I did create a look yesterday with this trio and I deed need to use one extra shadow in the crease (lighter brown). You can see the look here. I'm really happy how it came out. The shadows blend easily and was so easy to work with. I always use primer under my every look and this was no exception. These shadows stayed on me all day (longer then 8 hours) and there was no creasing or fading.

I overall like this trio (I got it in a beauty box), but I do find it bit over priced for what it is. I add bit more money and I can go and buy something from Urban Decay or I go to drugstore and can get something cheaper with the same quality. I wouldn't feel that way, maybe if all the shadows would be super pigmented, like nothing seen before. That would be something and I would be more okay with the price point. If you are interested in the brand I'll link their page here.

Review: Hoia Lavender, Rosemary & Grapefruit Bodywhip

Hi loves! Today I have something special for you :D I haven't tried anything like this before. Hoia Lavender, Rosemary & Grapefruit Bodywhip (200ml, 15.90 EUR) has the most unique formula of body butter/lotion I have seen before. Hoia is Estonian beauty brand and they make 100% natural products for body, skin and there is even something for babies (to take care of their sensitive skin). All their products are hand made in Saaremaa (its an island in Estonia).

The bodywhip comes in a clear jat (its plastic) and the package is not heavy at all. Its feels like there is only air in it. In a way it would make it travel friendly at least for me, if I go somewhere longer then few days.

The shelf life of it is only 4 months, which is not long. I don't mind it because I moisturize my body daily and use a jar a month (usually). The formula of it is also vegan and they don't test on animals.

It contains all good ingredients like shea butter, cocoa butter and other oils, which provide instant hydration to the skin and better blood circulation and also help with skin texture. Grapeseed oil helps to tone and plump the skin.

I like to use it morning and evening. It does have a wonderful scent to it, which is mix of grapefruit, lavender and rosemary (the scent doesn't linger long, so it wouldn't mix with any fragrance you wanna wear that day). Its so light weight formula and little goes a long way. The bodywhip turns into oil when its in contact with the skin. It does sink into the skin fast and leaves me with hydrating and healthy looking skin. It also makes my elbows so soft and it lasts all day.

Ingredients: Butyrospermun Parkii (sheavõi) seed butter, Cocos nucifera (kookosõli) oil, Theobroma cacao (kakaovõi) seed butter, Carthamus tinctorius (värvohaka) oil, Cannabis Sativa (kanepiseemne) seed oil, Vitis Vinifera (viinamarjaseemne) seed oil, Citrus Paradisi (greibi) oil, Lavandula Angustofolia (lavendli) oil, Rosemarinus Officinalis (rosmariini) oil, Tocopherol (E-vitamiin).

I'm so happy I found this brand and its thanks to my best friend. Its wonderful product and I think I like it more then my donkey milk body butter ;) On their page they do ship only in Estonia, but when I messaged to them on Instagram (link) they where okay to ship to me (to Belgium), but the shipping from Estonia is not cheap. I don't know why, but it is like that. Anyway, if you are interested in it I'll link it here.
