Review: Mulac Hairlab

Hi loves! Long time no see :) I hope form now on I'm able to blog more often on this blog. This year I tried out first time Mulac Cosmetics. Its an Italian brand established on April 2014 by Cindy, who is a beauty influencer in Italy. Most of their products have 90% natural ingredients.

I have 3 items from their Hairlab: Clean Berry 10 (250ml, €8.90), Creme Berry 10 (200ml, €13.90) and Huileberry 10 (100ml, €19.90).

Clean Berry 10 (link) is intensive nourishing shampoo and it doesn't contain any silicons. Its formulated with 10 oils, which provide nourishment to the hair. It helps to moisturize the hair fibers in depth and makes the hair soft and shin.

I do like this shampoo a lot. It makes my hair so soft and I can really feel and see its hydrated, specially when I had long hair.

The only issue I have with this product is the packaging. I do like the bottle and the label. It all looks beautiful and well made, but this product doesn't have a pump. I have to pour it out from the bottle and I find it extremely annoying. I always end up pouring out too much and waisting some of the product. I would love it, if it came with a pump. It would make it more user friendly.
Creme Berry 10 (link) is tick nourishing hair mask, which come in a tub and has the same lilac packaging as the rest of the line has. I don't mind too much this type of packaging, because the product is thicker and its easy to scoop out the right amount of product.

This is also formulated with out any silicons and it gives to the hair strength and elasticity. Also helps to fight agains frizz.

I use this treatment in towel dry hair and when I had long hair I applied it generously. Now days I have short hair and I use way less product. I leave it in for few minutes and then rinse it out and my hair is the softest thing ever. There is way less frizz and my hair is so much easier to manage.

I think I haven't mentioned, but this hair range smells so good and delicious.

Huileberry 10 (link) comes in gorgeous glass bottle and has a dropper. It looks so luxe! This is a blend of 10 natural oils, which nourish, repair and protect the hair fibers. Before I had long hair, which was a month ago, I used this product twice a day. I have natural dry hair, so I need the hydration, plus my hair was and still is color treated. I do have short hair, but I still time to time add it in my hair and it makes it so soft.

I used to use 3 drops one side and 3 drops on other side. It made  my long hair frizz free, easy to comb, soft and added shine to it. Now I use 3 drops all together and I use it in my wet hair. It can be used in dry or wet hair, as you prefer. Another perk at least for me about this item is the scent. It smells so good and it makes your hair smell so good. I didn't noticed it before, till my mom dried it and when she walked past me I noticed the scent.

I'm so happy I ended up getting this hair range. I still have yet to try the dry shampoo from the range. But I think its going to be as amazing as rest of the products. You can check the range out for yourself here.

Have you tried Mulac before?

Review: Hoia Coffee & Peppermint Bodyscrub

Hi loves! Today I have something amazing to share with you! Its Hoia Coffee & Peppermint Bodyscrub (200ml, €12.90), which is 100% natural and made in Estonia.

This body scrub is with peppermint, which gives the skin cooling sensation. I also like the mixed scent of coffee and peppermint. The formula contains shea butter and coconut butter, which leaves the skin hydrated and nourished.

This body scrub is hands down my favorite and the best I have ever tried in my life. It removes all the dead skin cells and makes my skin feel so smooth and soft. It also makes epilation easier, because it gets all the ingrown hairs out, which sometimes can happen.

I also love the fact that coffee helps to fight against cellulite. Every bit helps right girls ;)

IngredientsSucrose, Coffee Arabica Beans, Butyrospermun Parkii Butter (sheavõi), Cocos Nucifera Oil (kookosrasv), Mentha Piperita Leaf Oil (piparmündi eeterlik õli), *Limonene. *Sisaldub looduslikult sidrunheina eeterlikus õlis.

I have tried few of their other things and I have been loving everything so far. Next I do wanna try some skincare items from them. If you are in Estonia I highly recommend trying out this brand. Its so amazing and all their items are natural. You can find this mega amazing body scrub here.

Review: Natura Siberica -30˚C Cold Mask

Hi loves! I had another brake with this blog, but I'm back for now and today's post is on Natura Siberica -30˚C Cold Mask (50ml). Its a sculpting face mask.

The mask comes in a frosted plastic jar. It has a silver cap on it and on the side of the jar is the brands logo and the product name. It has very clean and minimalistic style packaging, which I like. I would have liked it to be in a squeeze tube, but the formula is too thick  for that.

This mask helps against early aging, smooths and firms the skin. It also provides sculpting effect. At the same time it provides nourishment to the skin. My skin always feels super soft after using it.

Key ingredients:
  • Black caviar extract - is a great source of proteins, amino acids, minerals and vitamins. It increases skins renewal, collagen and elastin production. Also provides strong antioxidant protection. That all helps the skin look smoother and younger.
  • Organic peppermint oil - has strong toning effect and moisturizing properties.
  • Organic snow cladonia extract - helps to slow down the aging processes.

I find this mask does wonders for my skin. It makes my skin plump, firmer and soft. It makes my overall complexion look brighter and more radiant. Down below you can see the before and after picture.

I'm very happy with this mask and its going to be something I definetly repurchase once this one runs out. I picked mine up on Rimi (from Estonia). Its also available on Amazon (link), if you are interested.

Review: Bellapierre Contour & Highlight Cream Palette

Hi loves! Today I have for you Bellapierre Contour & Highlight Cream Palette (24g). The palette comes in cardboard packaging and closes magnetically. Inside there is a mirror and 6 cream shade for highlighting and contouring. It also comes step by step instruction how to highlight & contour your face. Its great they added it, so beginners can use this palette too. You can also remove the pans from the palette and add to empty magnetic palette for travel.

The formula of the cream highlighters and contouring shades feel cream and they are pigmented. I like to use my fingers to apply these and blend out with a puffing brush. These blend easily into the skin and look seamless. Its so easy to use and I find cream contour is easier to use then powders. Its more forgiving and great for beginners. Its also faster and thats why I like to use it.
On the left you can see all of the shades swatched. My highlighting shade is Marzipan. I know its more yellow, but it somehow works very well with my skin tone and brightens very thing up. My cotnouring shade is the darkest Ganache. Its perfect to carve out my cheek bones and add that natural looking shadow. These are the main shades I use, but I can use the other darker shades to bronze up my complexion. I like I can find a way to use almost all the shades.

Ingredients: Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Ricinus Communis (Castor) Seed Oil, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Cera Alba (Beeswax), Magnesium Carbonate, Kaolin, Candelilla Cera (Candelilla Wax), Copernicia Cerifera Cera(Carnauba Wax), Simmondsia Chinensis(Jojoba) Seed oil, Lonicera Caprifolium (Honeysuckle) Flower Extract, Lonicera Japonica (Honeysuckle) Flower Extract, Silica, Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin A), [+/- Mica (CI 77091), Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), Iron Oxides (CI 77491, CI 77492, CI77499)].

I'm very happy with this palette. I got it from a beauty subscription box and I'm so happy I did. Its wonderful product and I love how easy it is to work with these. If you are interested and based in the Netherlands, you can find it here. Rest of the world can check it out down below ;)

Review: Lumi Refreshing Birch Mist

Hi loves! Sorry for being late with this week's post. Today I wanna share with you Lumi Refreshing Birch Mist (100ml, 35.90€). This face mist is made with natural, steam-distilled birch buds from Estonia. It has birch scent, which is natural. This can be used a cleansing toner, a refreshing mist in the evenings or use it through out the day to refresh the skin. This fits all skin types, is fragrance free and with balanced pH.

This face mist comes in a dark glass bottle and has a sprayer, which prays out lovely even mist. The outside packaging is minimalistic like all their products. It feels like medicine for my skin.

How to use:
  • Cleansing: apply some of it on a cotton pad and use it as toner. It refreshes the skin and leaves it hydrated and clean.
  • Refresh: mist it directly on the face. I love the birch scent it has. It reminds me home and forest. It leaves my skin cooled and refreshed.

Ingredients: Betula alba (birch) leaf water, Sodium Benzoate*, Potassium Sorbate*
*certified organic ingredient

As a face mist it is pricy, but it feels so good on skin. I love to use it in the mornings and it wakes my skin up and I love the fresh birch scent it has.

Review: Signe Seebid Strawberry Vanilla Powder Mask

Hi loves! Today I have for you Signe Seebid Strawberry Vanilla Powder Mask (50g,  €12.00).

This is purifying powder mask. Its with strawberry, vanilla and white clay. It nourishes the skin with vitamin A, C, calcium and iron. Vanilla seed in the mask gently cleanse the skin. Its 100% natural and doesn't contain any synthetic preservatives, flavors or artificial colors.

The powder mask is light pink color and it has bit of sour scent to it. It can be mixed with water, which I usually go for, because I do the mask in my bathroom and don't feel like going downstairs for milk or yogurt, which you can also use. I mix it together (I use 1 teaspoon) and apply it with a flat foundation brush. I try to apply even layer every where and I leave it on for 10 minutes.
The mask feels on the skin light and it doesn't feel uncomfortable, because I apply thick layer, so it doesn't get compleatly dry on the skin. After the mask has been on for 10 minutes, I wash it off with water (not too hot water) and gently massage the skin while I'm getting the mask off. The vanilla seeds in the mask exfoliate and cleanse the skin. After that I dry my face and my skin feels softer, brighter and plumper.
Ingredients: caolin white clay (white calin clay), fragaria vesca, maltodextrin (strawberry powder), CI77491 (red clay), vanilla planifolia (vanilla seeds)

I'm very happy with this mask. It makes my skin feel amazing and I love to support natural and clean beauty brand. If you are interested in it, you can check it out here.

Review: BonMerité Radiant Glow Body Cream

Hi loves! Today's review is on BonMerité Radiant Glow Body Cream (200ml), which is with carrot and silk.

The cream comes in a plastic tub and the texture of it is between body butter and a lotion. It feels light on skin and sinks into it with seconds. Its great to use in the mornings and I can get dressed right away. It didn't stain any of my cloths (because of the carrot oil)

The scent of the body cream is herbal and its not very strong. I don't really smell it when I apply it to my skin. The scent of it is 100% natural

The formula contains vitamin B5, which increases the elasticity, locking moisture into the skin and helps to make the skin smooth. Beta-carotene, which is find in carrot oil provides beautiful complexion. Wheat germ oil is rich with vitamin E and this helps against skin aging. All the ingredients in this product are 100% natural and ecological ingredients. Thats why I like to buy their products. Its my second body cream from them (review).

The color of the body cream is yellow and it doesn't stain the closed, like I mentioned above.

IngredientsAqua (water), Cocos Nucifera Oil (Coconut), Butyrospermum Parkii Butter (Shea Nut), Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Oryza Sativa Bran Oil (rice), Triticum Vulgare Germ Oil (wheat), Beta-Carotene (from carrot), Polyglyceryl-3 Methylglucose Distearate (Ecocert certified natural Emulsifier), Glycerine (natural Moisturizer), Cetyl Alcohol (natural Moisturizer), Panthenol (Vitamin B5), Hydrolyzed Silk, [Benzyl alcohol, Sodium Benzoate, Potassium Sorbate [Ecocert certified preservative], Mentha Arvensis Herb Oil (peppermint), Vanilla Plantifolia (vanilla) Fruit Exctract, Citric Acid

I have finished this cream by now and I do like it. Its so light formula and it gives my skin moisture and makes it look nice. I don't have one bad thing to say about it :)

I do wanna say I'm sorry for taking time off from this blog. In August I had too much going on and I just needed a brake, but I'm back now and keep posting every week on Friday mornings.

Review: Luuv Self Tanning Dry Oil | Dark

Hi loves! I'm not very good at self tanning and I haven't used much of this type of products in the past. But I wanted to try out Luuv Self Tanning Dry Oil (100ml, €19.90).

The self tanner comes in a white plastic bottle and has a sprayer on it. The style of the packaging is clean and simple, which I like. There is 3 shades available light, medium and dark. I picked up the dark shade. Its produced in Estonia. Its 100% vegan, cruelty free and natural. Its should be used up in 6 months.

This contains tons of good ingredients to the skin and it promises to gives you perfect golden tan. It says the deeper tan is achieved gradually. It hydrates the skin and can be used instead of your daily moisturizer. It also claims to fade naturally, no peeling.

The natural self tanning agents are raspberry sugar extract and dihydroxyacetone (compound fermented from beet). These also fit sensitive skin type. It contains carrot oil, which is rich with vitamin A and beta arotene. These give the skin beautiful complexion. Antioxidants and vitamin E help to maintain the juvenility of the skin. Aloe vera in it helps to shoot the skin and it claims there is no scent to it.

Now lets talk about my experience with it :) I would say there is a slight self tanning scent to it, but its not too strong. The spray doesn't spray out even spray, you do need to massage it all into the skin. It sinks into the skin beautifully and leaves it hydrated. I noticed a tan developing in few hours after the first application and it looked beautiful and even. After that things went bad and fast. The next day I was umpa lumpa and thank God I applied it only on my legs. It wasn't looking even, which might be my application skills and there is no directions how to apply it. I just used my hands, which I washed after application. It didn't transfer on my cloths, but it did transfer when I dried myself up with a towel after shower (I noticed it few days after the application). One good thing about this self tanner is, that it does fade naturally and evenly. It has faded a bit and now my legs look slightly tan and it looks even. This product is so confusing to me.

Ingredients: Aqua, Glycerin, Dihydroxyacetone, Aloe Barbadensis, Helianthus Annuus & Beta Carotene, Erythrulose,  Xanthan Gum, Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexylglycerin

There are things I like about this product and I would use it just before going to a event to have tanned legs and the next day hide them. It might be my lack of experience too, so I don't know. I'll keep using it and let you know how it goes for me. If you have tried it let me know how you liked it and if it worked for you, tell me all your application tricks :D

Hi loves! So this week's second post is here and its on Melvita Rose Petal Shower (250ml, €14.00). If you are not familiar with the brand, Melvita is a France brand and they make natural and organic beauty products. They have been around over 30 years.

The formula of this shower gel is soap free and contains 3 wild rose extracts, which are hand picked. 99% of the ingredients are natural and 10% are organic. Its certified organic by ECOCERT. It can be used daily and the formula doesn't dry out my skin, which so many shower gels do. It feels light weight and I also enjoy the faint rose scent it leaves around me in the shower. It doesn't leave a scent on the skin though. Down below you can find full list of ingredients.

Review: Ontic Minerals Compact Single Eyeshadows

Hi loves! Once again the weekend just flew by me. I did have fever on Friday and I just couldn't make myself write a blog post. That means this week you'll get 2. The first post is a review on Ontic Minerals Compact Single Eyeshadows in shade West Coast, Starfish, Scarlet, Moondust and Dewy Green (9.95€, 2g).

These just come in a pan and is easy to put into a magnetic palette, which I really like. The formula does contain vitamin E, which is a strong antioxidant and protects the skin against free radicals. It also enriched with jojoba oil, which moisturizes and softens the skin.

The overall quality of the shadows is good. These are pigmented and can be build up to full color. It would be good for beginners or you just want wash of color all over the lid. On swatches you can se how they are and there is one shadow, which I'm not happy at all, which you can see swatched down below. These feel more stiff in the pan and I didn't get any fall out when using these.

  • West Coast - is beautiful shimmery champaign shade. Its gorgeous highlighter for inner corner of the eye or on the face.
  • Starfish - is shimmery orange peachy shade. I love doing one shadow look with it. Looks so pretty all over the lid!
  • Scarlet - looks gorgeous in the pan! Its shimmery red brown shade, which doesn't look true to the color in the pan and it didn't swatch evenly at all.

  • Moondust - is shimmery blue gray with green sheen to it. I don't think I own any eyeshadow like this one, its so unique.
  • Dewy Green - is shimmery cool tone green with hint gray to it.

I have mixed feelings about these shadows. I do love the shades and find them unique. I would like the formula to be more buttery and some of the colors to be more true what they look like in the pan. But I have done beautiful looks with these and I'll keep using them. If you wanna check out their pressed single eyeshadows, you can find them here.

If you wanna see the looks I have created with these shadows you can check it out here and here

Have you tried their pressed shadows before?
