Review: Lush The Kiss Lip Scrub

Hi beauties! I like to wear long wearing and matte lip products, and that can be drying to my lips. Then its good to have in hand a lip scrub. I have been using Lush The Kiss Lip Scrub (25 g). I love their beauty products are always fresh and handmade.

This is part of the Valentine's Day collection, which is limited edition. This is my second jar (I picked up one last year as well, but some reason never ended up reviewing it) and I can say I love it.

It comes in a little glass jar, which is filled with the cutes lips scrub ever! Its pink, contains red hearts in it and smells good enough to eat ;)

Its a sugar scrub with touch of sea salt in it and the little hearts in it are eatable ;) The flavor of it is sweet mandarine.

How to use:

I try to use it twice a week, but most times I manage to do it only once. I wet my lips with water and take some of the scrub out with a finger (dry). I rub it on the lips gently for some time and after I wash it off with water. I'm left with soft and smooth lips, which also look plumper. After that I apply my favorite lip balm.

Their products are not tested on animals, which is another reason to try them out ;)

As you can imagine I'm in love with it. It keeps my lips in good shape and I can wear all the matte lipsticks I want :P If you see it anywhere I highly recommended, its just fab! Its around 10 EUR here in Netherlands (if I remember correctly).

Which your favorite lip scrub?

Wishlist: Skincare #1

Hi beauties! I have been trying to use more natural and organic skincare items and I was looking around beauty bay and decided to do a wishlist on items I have my eye on.

I have tried Naobay toner (review) and it was love from first try, so I want to try more. First item on my wishlist is their Renewal Argan Oil (30 ml, 35.60 EUR, link).

Naobay Renewal Argan Oil is renowned for its miraculous healing, nourishing and replenishing properties revealing a flawless finish for the complexion and decolletage.
It sounds amazing and I have been loving face oils, so I really want to give a try to this one. It also has 100% natural ingredients.

As someone with oily skin I love mattifying products (even though I use face oil :P). Naobay Mattifying Facial Gel Cleanser (200 ml, 17.20 EUR, link) sounds something for me. It claims to be gentle enough to use it day and night, so it would be perfect for me.

Vapour Organic Beauty is making organic mineral makeup and is totally new brand for me. On my wishlist from them I have Clarity Makeup Removing Cleansing Oil (27.9 g, 30 EUR, link), because I adore cleansing oils. The description of it sounds amazing, claims to brighten the skin and also boosts elasticity.

Next item on the list is also from a brand I have never heard of before. Oskia Eye Wonder (15 ml, 50.60 EUR, link) sounds so promising! Its a nutri-active eye serum, which brightens and refreshes the eye area for more youthful appearance. I also like it has a pump, makes it so easy to use.

Next and the last item on my wishlist is an exfoliator from Pai. Their products are natural and I have heard so many positive things about the brand and I have wanted to try something from them a long time. That said, on my wishlist is their Kukui & Jojoba bead Skin Brightening Exfoliator (75 ml, 26.90 EUR, link). I like its suitable for sensitive skin, even though I don't have sensitive skin, but I want to use products on my skin, which are gentle on it. I also like the formula is alcohol free.

This is my wishlist at the moment :) I love skincare and try to explore as much as possible. I hope you enjoyed this post and if you know some amazing natural/organic beauty brands, do let me know in the comments below!

Review: Figs & Rouge Cherry Blossom Lip Balm

Hi beauties! Sorry for missing Monday's post, but I needed to go to Belgium, so I didn't have time to blog :( But I'm back today and have a review on  Figs & Rouge Cherry Blossom Lip Balm (12.5 ml, 6.90 EUR). Its 100% pure and natural!

The lip balm comes in a bright yellow packaging and has a lovely floral design on it.

The formula is with out parabens, without oils, synthetic colors and flavors and all ingredients are 100% natural.

The formula of the balm feels thick and rich. It does glide on lips easily and hydrates them instantly. I use it together with my Lush lip scrub and since I have done it I haven't had chipped lips. After I started using this balm my lips have been so hydrated and I don't feel like they dry out. Also it seems like my lips have been more plumper as well.

This is the first product I tried from the brand and I can say I'm so impressed. Its always hard for me to find a lip balm which actually works for me and keeps my lips soft and hydrated and this has done it all!

If you are interested of this gem I'll link it here. I highly recommend it ;)

Have you tried anything from the brand?

Review: Joik Lavender Bath Truffles

Hi beauties! Today I have for you Joik's Lavender Bath Truffles (310 g) and these are so relaxing.

Joik is Estonian brand, which makes natural beauty products and so far everything I have tried has been amazing!

There is 6 in the box and these smell more herbal. The other truffles from them smell like chocolate, you can read all about it here. This one is with lavender essential oil and cocoa butter. It smells more herbal, so I didn't know if I would like it.

I let it melt in the bath water and when the tub is full its almost all melted. The bath felt so relaxing and I feel everything with lavender is calming and takes my stress away. Right away I felt how soft and hydrated my skin was. I even skipped the moisturizer.

It didn't irritate my skin or cause any itchiness. In the past some bath products have caused it, so I'm always afraid it might happen again. I'm so glad it wasn't the case with this one :)

The more I use Joik products the more I love it. I can't wait to get my hands on more of their products :)

Do you like natural beauty products?

Review: Aveda Smooth Infusion Glossing Straightener

Hi beauties! I have been using Aveda Smooth Infusion Glossing Straightener (125 ml, $24, 26 EUR) on and off more then a year. Lately I have been really testing it out and it has been amazing. Aveda is more natural brand and that's why I share this review in this blog and not on Pink Frenzy (link). I love the fact that their manufacture 100% on wind power. How amazing is that!

Now I have it in an older packaging, because I have had it for so long. I can say I have only quarter left. Anyway it comes in squeeze tube, which gives me control how much product I want to use.

I have naturally wavy hair and it gets it straight, but not as straight as with straightener. It leaves my hair natural looking and gives also tons of volume. I use it on damp hair and then blow-dry.

Its plant infused and contains organic aloe, maize and guar bean. These create a new smooth surface on the hair. It also protects the hair from the heat, which means I can skip the heath protector.

The formula of it is gel like and is easy to work into the hair. I adore the lemon scent it has, which makes the hair smell so good. After the blow-drying I can't smell it though.

I feel it keeps my hair styled till next time I need to wash it, which usually is after 3-4 days.

At first I didn't like it as much, but the longer my hair got and the more I used it, I saw the difference in my hair. It has been just wonderful <3

If you are interested in it and are here in Netherlands you can find it here. If you are in US you can get hold of it here.

Little Lush Haul

Hi beauties! Welcome back :) Today I have for you a little haul on some Lush goodies I picked up. I already know I adore their bath bombs, so I ended up getting few new things as well, which I have never tried before.

First I picked up this cute Pink Flamingo bath bomb. As you may know I love color pink and also their bath bombs, so I needed to give it a try. I'll keep you guys posted how I like it on upcoming post.

I'll be doing a lot of traveling between Netherlands and Belgium, so I picked up one of their The Comforter Shower Creams (100 g). It in the perfect size to take with me when traveling and it also smells so good and is pink with glitter in it :D Can't get better then that!

You know how they have testers of all items out and I tried their Sympathy For The Skin Hand- & Bodylotion (240 g). It made my hands so soft, so I needed to get it. Its going to be part of my pamper routine as it is around 22 EUR and the jar it comes in is not that big. Why good things always contain so few product!

I adore Lush lip scrubs and I did run out, so I got their The Kiss Lip Scrub (25 g), which smells so good and it has little harts in it.

I did got complimentary solid fragrance and its called Kerbside Violet (21 g), which smells so good. I have never tried any solid fragrances before. I like how small it is, so I can have it with me on the go.

Have you tried any of these products before?

Review: Naobay Calming Face Toner

Hi beauties! How have you all been? This week has just been so busy. I try to post here in Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. I missed this Monday, but I do my best to post 3 times a week ;)

Today's post is on Naobay Calming Face Toner (200 ml, 17.90 EUR) and this is my second bottle.  It comes in a white bottle and I do need to twist the cap off. The cap part is surprisingly heavy.

"With an enchanting Citrus scent, Calming Face Toner eradicates all of the daily dirt that can build up on the face without damaging the skin or causing any irritation. Formulated using Chamomile and Gotu Kola Extracts, this innovative toner combines four skin-caring factors into one powerful elixir due to its ability to cleanse, tone, soothe and purify the complexion. Featuring 93.13% all natural ingredients, this wonderful beauty essential ensures that a flawless finish can be effortlessly achieved."

Its my first time trying their product and I'm absolutely in love with this toner. Its my second bottle and my skin seems to adore it. The formula feels so gentle and I think it would fit even sensitive skin.

It hasn't dried my skin out or caused any brake outs. Usually so gentle toners don't work well with my oily skin, but this one has been so good to my skin. I also like I can use it around the eye area as well, perfect to remove eye masks ;)

Ingredients: Aqua, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice*, Propanediol, Glycerin, Sodium Benzoate, Potassium Sorbate, Chamomilla Recutita Flower Extract*, Centella Asiatica Extract*, Citric Acid.  * Ingredients from organic farming.

As you can see I'm in love with it. I love the light citrus scent it has (its not overpowering) and how claiming it is. It just makes my skin feel good and radiant!

Their products are available on beautybay.com and you can find it here. If you have tried their products before leave me down recommendations, what I should try :)
