Review: Bellápierre Mineral Lipstick | Catwalk

Hi loves! This week on Öku Möku Bellápierre Mineral Lipstick in shade Catwalk ($20, 3.5g).

The lipstick comes in a black tube and the packaging looks standard black tube. There is the name of the brand on it and it closes securely, so I don't need to worry, that it will open in my bag. All together there is 14 shades available.

Their mineral lipsticks are formulated with natural waxes and pigments, iron oxides and antioxidants like vitamin C and E. Its 100% natural and the formula claims to be long lasting. The formula is without parabens, lead, lanolin and other harmful ingredients.

Its super creamy lipstick and feels hydrating on lips. I wouldn't say its long lasting formula. It has standard staying power for creamy lipstick. It has a sweet vanilla scent, which I adore <3 and the shade Catwalk is perfect everyday lipstick color. Whenever I don't know what to wear I go with this. Down below you can see a swatch of it and it is richly pigmented.

Ingredients: Ricinus Communis (Castor Oil), Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Candelilla Cera (Euphorbia Cerifera), Castor Isostearate Succinate, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Cera Alba (Beeswax), Copernicia Cerifera Cera (Carnauba Wax), Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Oil Seed, Lonicera Caprifolium (Honeysuckle) Flower Extract, Lonicera Japonica (Honeysuckle) Flower Extract, Tocopherol (Vitamin E), Phytosterol, Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate (Vitamin C), Vanillin. All info is from EWG's Skin Deep Cosmetics Database (link). (Low hazardmoderate hazardhigh hazard). Its so good to see product with only green ingredients :)

I personally love this lipstick and want to add more shades in my collection. It would be perfect lipstick when the weather get colder as its not drying and there is tons of shades to pick from. If you are interested you can find this lipstick on Look Fantastic (link) and they do ship worldwide.

Review: Ontic Minerals Flawless Mineral Foundation | F04 Stories from the Ivory Coast

Hi loves! I have given a chance to a mineral foundation and I didn't think I would ever do that. I'm through and through liquid foundation kind of girl. I have been testing out Ontic Minerals Flawless Mineral Foundation in shade F04 Stories from the Ivory Coast (8g, 26.95 EUR).

The mineral foundation comes in a jar and has sifter in it, which doesn't let the powder come out. The formula is all natural and doesn't contain any bad ingredients like talc. The brand is also cruelty free and you can check the blog for other review on their products.

The shade F04 Stories from the Ivory Coast is perfect for my skin tone. Its light shade with yellow undertones. I have been using it with my Manna Kadar primer (review) and then apply the foundation with kabuki brush. I just buff it into the skin and it feels light weight on skin. I didn't expect to get a full coverage with it, but it did surprise me and gave me a good coverage. I always set it with a light weight loose powder for silky smooth finish.

I'm with oily skin type and I do get oily with this foundation, but only in the T-zone. I usually blot the skin and if there is any cakying I'll just blend it with a kabuki brush and its like new. I like how long lasting the coverage is and its easy to fix when it gets cakey.

I usually don't apply it under the eye area, because it dries it out. I just apply my concealer and then go in with setting powder. After that I apply my mineral foundation. Down below you can see the demo how it applies and looks after application.

Overall I like this foundation and I think it will work better for me when the months get colder. It did grab on to dry patches (like dried up acne) a little bit and it was only noticeable when I looked really closely.

If you are interested in it and based in Estonia you can check it out here.

Review: Liz Earle Instant Boost Skin Tonic

Hi loves! This weeks post is on Liz Earle Instant Boost Skin Tonic (200ml, 19 EUR). It has been my morning and evening toner.

The toner comes in a plastic bottle and it opens by twisting the cap. Its floral scented toner which is alcohol free. It refreshens the skin and also shoots and brightens it. It fits all skin types and their products are not tested on animals.

The toner contains active ingredients like aloe vera, which provides hydration. Calendula, chamomile and cucumber sooth and refresh the skin and also is natural source vitamin E. Pure essential oils of rose-scented geranium, lavender and sweet orange help to restore the skin.

I put some of it on the cotton pad and apply it on the skin and it leaves my skin refreshed and it doesn't dry it out. Ever since I started using it and it has been more then a month my skin has cleared up more and looks brighter. I don't think it was all this toner, but it definetly helped.

Ingredients: AquaAloe barbadensis (aloe vera) leaf juice, Glycerin, PEG-40 hydrogenated castor oilTocopherol (vitamin E)Cucumis sativus (cucumber) fruit extractAnthemis nobilis (chamomile) flower extractCalendula officinalis (calendula) flower extractHumulus lupulus (hops) extractPhenoxyethanolPanthenolAllantoinParfumBenzoic acidTocopheryl acetateDehydroacetic acid, Sodium hydroxideEthylhexylglycerinLinaloolLimoneneCitronellolGeraniolCoumarinCitric acidPotassium sorbate.

I got all the info about the ingredient hazard levels from EWG's Skin Deep Cosmetics Database (link). (Low hazard, moderate hazard, high hazard). I  just want to say it doesn't say anywhere on their page that their products are natural (I usually review only natural products in this blog), but the brand gave me a feel like they are more natural and skin friendly. Thats also the reason why I took closer look of the ingredients.

The toner does contain ingredients, which are high hazard level, but I didn't experience any irritation or brake outs. I think the toner is not good for sensitive skin because it contains fragrance. My personal experience has only been good with it.

If you are interested in this toner you can find it on their page here. Its also available on Feelunique (link).

Review: Mastic Spa Deep Hydra Mask

Hi loves! If you have read my other blog you already know I have been loving Mastic Spa Deep Hydra Mask (link, 50ml, 26.02 EUR).

It comes in a glass jar and I use a brush to take the product out and apply to my face. Otherwise it would be a mess to use. The formula of it is thick and applying it will take some time (to get even application everywhere). It doesn't contain any parabens or mineral oil.

It provides deep hydration and softens the look of fine lines. It contains wine, which is rich with tartaric acid and it provides hydration to the skin and also has anti aging properties. Also contains ingredients like chestnut extract, mastic, chamomile, aloe and other organic extracts, which protect the epidermis and leave the skin firmer and velvety.

How to use:
I apply it on dry cleansed face with a brush. I let it be on the skin till its completely dry (which takes about 15 minutes). After that I remove the mask and it can hurt a little, because its peel off mask.

I have oily skin and this hydrating mask is perfect for my skin type. It leaves my skin hydrated, matte and silky smooth. I also feel my skin is firmer and I always have a great makeup days, because it also took away all my dead skin cells. My skin really does feel velvety ;) Down below you can see before and after picture.

If you are interested in this mask you can find it here and they do deliver in EU and other parts of the world.

I have never tried anything like this before and I'm really happy with the results I get with it. My skin feels like new after I use it and I'm excited to try something else from the brand :)
