Review: Joik Refreshing and Clarifying Green Tea & Peppermint Facial Mask

Hi loves! Today's post is on Joik Refreshing and Clarifying Green Tea & Peppermint Facial Mask (50g, 10.90€) and its suitable for normal and oily skin. Its 100% natural and thats why I like Joik products so much.

The mask comes is a jar and is in powder form. It can be mixed with water, milk or herbal tea. The formula contains French green clay, which helps to dissolve impurities and excess oil. Its also great for the minimizing pores. Green tea firms the skin and helps to maintain skins elasticity. Peppermint helps to prevent clogged pores and also controls the secretion of excess oil. The milk powder in it soothes the skin and makes it soft.

I mix usually 2 tea spoons of the mask powder and the same amount of water, and you can also use milk or herbal tea, if you want. I mix it together and apply it on dry skin. I keep it on form 10 minutes usually, but it can be on up to 15 minutes. Its recommended to use once a week and I have been doing it.

After 10 minutes I wash the mask off with warm water and I'm left with so smooth skin and it feels also softer. It doesn't irritate my skin in any way. With some mask, which are clarifying have made my skin red, but not this one. It also makes my pores look better and my skin overall look is much better. You can see the before & after picture down below.

I'm so happy I picked up this mask from Joik. I do have few other powder mask from them, which I'm so eager to start testing out. If you are interested in this mask I'll link it here and they do deliver world wide.

Review: Domina Elegans Golden Beauty Mask

Hi loves! Today I have for you a Domina Elegans Golden Beauty Mask (7ml) and its for one time use. Its an Estonian brand and I usually get their products whenever I'm in Estonia.

The mask comes in a golden packaging and it comes out as gel and has gold flecks in it, unfortunately I didn't make a picture of it. It reacts in contact with skin and changes. You can see it on a picture down below.

This mask claims to improve blood circulation, refreshes, cleanses the skin deeply and also opens pores. The mask has antioxidant properties which help against signs of aging.

I applied it on dry cleansed skin and put on generous amount evenly, avoiding eye area. I left it on 20 minutes. The mask bubbles up and does feel bit itchy on the skin, but I can feel how it removes all the dirt from my skin. After time was up I removed the mask with damp facecloth.

Down below you can see the before & after picture. My skin was left hydrated, but felt cleansed. It also made my skin feel smooth and brighter. I feel like my skin was even more soft the next day. I did the mask in the evening and in the morning I woke up to good skin :)

I'm so happy I ended up getting it. It was wonderful mask and I think one mask was around 9 EUR and I will be picking up more when I go to Estonia :)

Have you tired the brand?

Review: Olivia Ultra Lightweight & Hydrating Creamy Body Butter Melon & Pepper

Hi loves! I have been enjoying a lot Olivia Ultra Lightweight & Hydrating Creamy Body Butter Melon & Pepper (200ml, 8 EUR).

The body butter comes in a jar and the formula of it is light weight. Its a natural product based on organic olive oil. It also contains shea butter, which provides nourishment to the skin. Also almond oil, squalane and antioxidants from olive oil. These help to hydrate the skin without making it feel creasy.

Its light weight body butter and sinks into the skin easily. I don't need too much product, so It has lasted me a long time. I feel when I use it I don't have to moisturize my skin as often, then when I use other body butters.

It has a slight scent to it, which is not too strong, so it doesn't bother me. I picked up Melon & Pepper, because I wanted to try something new out, but I have to say I'm not fan of the scent. So its good the scent is not over powdering.

I picked it up when I was in Greece end of last summer and I really have been enjoying it (minus the scent). I can't wait to go back there this summer :) The sea food was amazing and also discovering some amazing Greek natural beauty products. I did found a webpage where they sell the same body butter, if you are interested I'll link it here.

Review: Seraphine Botanicals Guava Butter

Hi loves! I missed posting last week, so this week there will be 2 posts and the first is on Seraphine Botanicals Guava Butter in shade Pure Guava (4g, $24). Its a creamy lip and cheek stains, which is 91% natural.

It comes in a tube and I can twist it out and easily apply on cheeks/lips. I have been using it only on cheeks. I find with multi use products like this, work better on my cheeks then on my lips. The formula of it is hydrating and contains pure shea butter. Its also gluten free, GMO free, vegan and their products are not tested on animals.

The shade is beautiful and I can see it fitting many skin tones. It gives nice hit of color to cheeks, which I can build up if I want. The formula doesn't feel creasy and it blends out beautifully and effortlessly. Its perfect to use on days when I'm in hurry and leaves a natural result. I use it before I apply my powder.

I hoped it would last all day with out fading, but it wasn't the case. It claims to last 8 hours, which it does, but end of the day it just doesn't look as good as in the morning when I applied it. In a way its normal, but I do own products which do last all day without going anywhere, so its not unreachable ;)

It does have a scent to it, which is sweet and bit sour at the same time. I don't smell it when applying it or wearing it, but its there when I sniff it and I'm not a fan.

Overall I do like it! I wish it wouldn't have any scent to it and also it would look more vivid on my cheeks end of the day. I did got it in Style Tone box (link), so I can't complain about it too much. If you want to check out the product for yourself, you can find it here.
