Review: Aïcha Anti-Aging Argan Cream

Hi loves! As promised here is a review on Aïcha Anti-Aging Argan Cream (50 ml). All the ingredients in it are 100% from natural origins.

The  cream comes in a beautiful bottle and it does have pump. I like I can pump out as much product as I want and its easy and fuss free. I hate going into a jar with my fingers, so I'm really happy with products, which come with pump :)

As the name says this cream is with argan oil and the formula of it feels light on skin. It also contains botanical extracts from plants and flowers. There is no scent to it, so all beauties can enjoy it. The fatty acids in the argan oil helps naturally restore and stabilize the skin hydro-lipid layer.

The formula instantly hydrates the skin and because its with argan oil, I was worried how my oily skin would react to it. I was pleasantly surprised how it made my skin feel and it wasn't at all too much for my skin type. The cream sinks instantly into the skin and leaves it soft and smooth.

In the past when I have used creams, even the ones for oily skin, they do leave the skin bit creasy (I'm not sure if you know what I mean). The Aïcha Argan Cream leaves my skin feeling hydrated and not creasy. Its hard to explain, but its like applying a primer before doing makeup. It is described as a moisturizer, which can be used as makeup base as well. It does work as a base really well. It gives the skin a smooth feeling a primer would, but you know its good for the skin and has so many good benefits from hydrating the skin to being anti-aging and fights with the signs of aging.

What makes it so good makeup base is that the formula contains potent level of peptides, which make the skin hydrated and smooth.

I don't have wrinkles yet, except the one between my brows, which is not as deep as it was before. It always gets me excited to see when a product works, because its not always easy to notice the anti-aging part at work, when you don't have wrinkles yet. I saw results after 2 weeks.

I have finished already one bottle of this cream and I'm on my second bottle, which I bought with my own money. That already says how much I have enjoyed this product.

I can't be more happy with this gem! I love the formula and that I can use it also as my makeup base. My makeup goes on so smoothly when I have used it as a primer and I feel I don't get as oily with it. Anyway I'm in love :D

Beauty Haul: Aïcha, Joik...

Hi loves! I have collected together few products and it was time to sit down and write a post about my latest natural beauty buys :) I also filmed a video, which you can check out down below (there are some makeup swatches there ;) ).

I got for my birthday a lot of Aïcha products from my mom. I have tried few of their products and absolutely love them, so you can image how exited I am to try all of their products :D

I got Aïcha Argan Shampoo (300 ml) and Conditioner (300 ml), which is my moms favorite and she only uses this. I have tried it already few times and it leaves my hair noticeably softer and hydrated. I did write a review on my moms experience, if you are interested, I'll link it here.

I also got their Argan Hair Treatment Serum (30 ml). Its my second bottle and I love it! The formula of it is so light and its instantly makes my hair softer. You can read a full review on it here.

Then I have their Eye Serum Roller with Argan Oil (15 ml). I like it has a roller, which makes it so easy to apply it. I can't wait to start testing it out, because I have extremely dry under eye area, so I have high hopes for it.

Next is their Skin Therapy with Organic Argan Oil (30 ml), which is blend of 100% organic oils. It helps the skin fight aging and now when I'm in my 30's I need all the help I can get ;)

I also have my loved Aïcha Anti-Ageing Cream with Argan Oil (50ml), which can be used as a cream and also as a primer. I love it leaves my skin matte and not creasy. I have promised a review and it will come next week for sure!

The last item I got from them is their Organic Argan Oil (50ml), which can be used so many ways. It can be used on skin, in hair and also as makeup remover. So its like 3 in 1 kind of product, which I can't wait to put to the test and see how well it will take my makeup off :D

If you want to check out the products for yourself, I'll the brands page here

Last week I got back from Estonia and I did pick up few items from there. I can't go to Estonia and not pick up few goodies from the local brands :D I got Joik Bronzing Dry Body Oil (100 ml). This is their new and improved formula. It gives bit of color to the skin and glow. I have yet to test it out, but it didn't seem glittery when I tried on my hand, even though in the bottle it looks so shimmery.

I picked up an eye shadow from brand called Gaia Cosmetics and the shade I got is Brown Sugar (1.2 g). Its a beautiful shimmery shade and I can't wait to play with it :)

The last item in this haul is Ontic Minerals Pearl Highlighter (3 g). I swatched it in the store and it seemed beautiful! You can see swatch of the highlighter and the shadow on the video below.

I'm super exited to start testing out all my new goodies, if there is any items you want me to start testing out right away let me know in the comments below :)

Review: Joik BB Cream

Hi loves! I have never tried any of Joik makeup, so I was happy to see their BB cream (50 ml, 12.90 EUR). I picked up the shade light, as my complexion is more to the light side and I always struggle to find the right shade for my skin tone.

The BB cream comes in a black plastic bottle which does have a pump. I loving the packaging, its so easy to use and the pump does give me some control how much product I pump out. I usually use one and a half pump of product all over my face .

Its formulated with argan oil and natural mineral pigments, which claims to even the skin, mattifies and also gives the skin health glow. Its also suitable to all skin types.

Argan and wheat germ oils are rich with E-vitamin, which give the skin moisture and nourishment. Also provide protection from environmental damages and premature aging.

The BB cream also contains titanium dioxide and zinc oxide, which provide natural protection against UV rays.

This BB cream sounds better and better huh...Now lets talk about my personal experience with it. On their page they do claim the shade light fits fair skin and I have have fair skin and it was bit too dark for me. When I swatched it on my hand in the store, it didn't seem like it was too dark, but when I apply it on my face its darker noticeably and also it doesn't apply evenly.

I was really disappointed with it, as you can imagine. There was one thing I like about it and it was how it felt on skin and made my skin feel when I was wearing it. It felt on skin like nothing! Its super light weight and I felt I didn't have any makeup on my skin. That was when I started thinking how I can make it work for me. I started to mix in Peggy Sage Correcteur De Teint Concealer (3 g), which lightened it up. I'm not sure if it was only because the color was too dark for me, but after I started mixing in the white concealer, the BB cream applied even and still feels like nothing on my face. It makes my skin feel like I had done my skincare routine with masks and everything, leaving it plump and hydrated.

This BB cream also covers up all my pores and makes my skin tone look more even and flawless. If you want to see a demo video of it, let me know in the comments below and I'll do it ;)

The staying power of it is the same as with other foundations I have used in the past. I do get oily through out the day no matter what and need to powder my face.

As you can see I have mixed feelings about this product. I wish they would fix the formula, because there are some parts about this BB cream I just love. I'll keep using it, because I just love the finish I get and how my skin reacts to it (of course I'll be lightening it with the white concealer).

If you are in Estonia and have darker skin then me, it might work for me. I'll link it here. They have another web shop where they do deliver outside of Estonia, if you are interested you can check it out here.

Review: ECO Laboratorie Eye Care Serum

Hi loves! Eye serum is always been part of my skincare routine and lately I have been using ECO Laboratorie Eye Care Serum (30 ml), which I picked up when I was in Estonia. If you haven't seen that post yet, I'll link it here.

The serum comes i a squeeze tube, which is easy to use and I get out as much product as I want. The size of it is perfect to bring it with me when traveling.

Its made in Russia and 98% of the ingredients in this serum are from natural origins. The formula is with out parabens, silicons, chemical preservatives and synthetic dyes.

Active ingredients are organic iris infusion, which hydrates and nourishes; organic sweet almond oil, which rejuvenates and black caviar extract, which is firming and improves elasticity.

The serum is like a gel and feels very light weight on skin and it sinks into the skin in seconds. I have been using it morning and evening, the moment I got it. I apply it under my eye area and also on the lids. It instantly hydrates the under eye are and makes it feel smoother.

Sometimes in the evening my under eye area can feel really dry and uncomfortable and this serum really helps with the dryness and it also makes my lids firmer as well.

Its a first product I have tried from the brand and so far and I'm very impressed with it. I can't wait to try something else from the brand. Also their products are not very expensive, so it doesn't brake the bank ;)

Have you tried anything from the brand?

Review: Lush The Comforter Shower Cream

Hi loves! Sorry for the delay of this week's post. I had busy weekend and on Monday I had a last exam (special effect makeup), which I passed. The school is over and I'll be getting my diplomas end of June :D So exited for that!

I love the fact that Lush products are handmade and fresh <3 The shower cream I picked is a little bottle, which is the perfect size to take with me when traveling, which I have done a lot lately. Its in a squeeze tube, which makes it so easy to get the products out and it closes well, so its safe to be in the suitcase.

When I first opened the bottle my bathroom instantly smelled sweet. The scent of it is strong and fruity, which I personally love. Sweet scents just make me happy.

The formula of it is runny, which might not be everyones cup of tea, and its not also as foamy as shower gel.

I like to massage my body with it under the shower. It makes my skin feel clean and hydrated. I don't feel like my skin is so tight feeling when I use this, plus it smells so good and looks even better. The shimmer in it is a nice touch ;)

The formula contains fair trade vanilla from Western Uganda and Cassis, which gives the shower cream blackcurrant scent. The formula is also vegan.

Ingredients: Water (Aqua) , Sodium Laureth Sulfate (Sodium Laureth Sulfate) , Blackcurrant and Fair Trade vanilla infusion (Rubus fruticosus, Vanilla planifolia) , Sodium Cocoamphoacetate (Sodium Cocoamphoacetate) , Stearic Acid (Stearic Acid) , Lauryl Betaine (Lauryl Betaine) , Propylene glycol (Propylene glycol) , Perfume (Perfume) ,Almond oil (Prunus dulcis) , lactic acid (Lactic Acid) , Titanium dioxide , Bergamot essential oil (Citrus aurantium bergamia) , Blackcurrant absolue , Cypress essential oil (Cupressus sempervirens) , * Limonene ( * Limonene) , * Linalool (* linalool) ,Snowflakes shimmer powder , Dye 17200 (Colour 17200) , Dye 45410 (Colour 45410)Methyl paraben

I'm so happy I picked up this shower cream and I'm so impressed how nice it feels on skin. I'll be trying out more of their body products for sure, specially the shower creams :)
